The best way to love your heart and reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke is to live life to the fullest and adopt a healthy lifestyle. We have a dream that every Alaskan can find ways to love their heart and live healthy, whether by practicing yoga, mindfulness, or healthy eating.
This gallery highlights amazing women who have survived heart disease or champion the cause to prevent heart disease and stroke in our community. Each ambassador has a story of their heart; it may be of illness, family impact or recovery. Today, they live life to the fullest, appreciate their extension of life, and work to keep heart disease at bay. As you review the images and stories of this gallery, consider how you too can LOVE YOUR HEART.
This project would not have been possible without the dedication of Providence Alaska Medical Center, our local Life is Why sponsor along with the support of national sponsors Macy’s and CVS Health. This gallery will be featured at Go Red For Women events, various businesses and coffee shops across Alaska.
